About Kin

Our Story

Kin was founded on the belief that artist management should feel like family. Founded by a songwriter, producer, businesswoman and international touring musician, Charity Turner, Kin was created to bridge the gap between the business and creative worlds, ensuring that artists receive strategic guidance and genuine care throughout their careers.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Charity has seen firsthand the challenges artists face—from navigating contracts and branding to touring and sustaining a long-term career. Through these experiences, it became clear that the traditional management model often prioritises profit over people and numbers over artistry. Kin exists to challenge that norm, placing people first and fostering a culture of sustainability, integrity, and connection.
At its core, Kin embodies the principles of the feminine economy, which values nurturing over burnout, honesty over mediocrity, and relationships over transactions.
Success, in Kin’s philosophy, isn’t just about streams or ticket sales; it’s about creating music that connects, inspires, and fosters belonging.
