After more than two decades working across the Australian and international music industries, Charity Turner has helped artists navigate record deals, release campaigns, touring, funding applications, commercial partnerships and long-term career strategy.
An MBA-qualified artist manager, strategist, songwriter and former international touring musician, Charity understands the industry from both sides: the creative realities artists face and the business decisions required to build a sustainable career.
As Founder and Managing Director of KIN Management, Charity actively manages and develops emerging artists, negotiates with labels and industry partners, oversees release and marketing strategies, and supports artists through pivotal stages of growth. Her experience spans artist positioning, team building, recording and distribution agreements, grant funding, touring, international development and preparing artists for opportunities with labels, publishers, booking agents, festivals and media.
Unlike consultants who simply teach theory, Charity remains deeply involved in the music industry every day. Her advice is current, commercially informed and tailored to the individual artist—because there is no single pathway to a meaningful career in music.
Charity’s mentoring style is honest, strategic and deeply artist-centred. She helps artists cut through the noise, understand where they currently sit in the industry and identify the most valuable next steps for their music, audience and career.
